KAPCON 2024 Submission Guidelines

Ensure your submissions meet the following guidelines.

General Guidelines

  • Preliminary evaluation of submitted abstracts is ongoing. Abstract Acceptance / Resubmission with Suggested Changes / Rejection will be informed via email.
  • Online Presentation for PG,UG & Faculty Category :30th Sept to 5th Oct 2024

Paper Presentation Guidelines

  • Presentation in PowerPoint format.
  • The first slide should contain the Title & Name of presenting Author .
    The KAPCON 2024 logo should be on the left side of the title. Paper ID number should be mentioned below the KAPCON 2024 logo.
  • The paper should be structured as follows: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
  • Font: Any standard font.
  • Heading font size: 32 and above.
  • Body font size: 24 and above.
  • First author should be the presenting author. Name should be bold and underlined.
  • Ensure text and background contrast, sufficient line spacing, and avoid overcrowding of slides.
  • Total presentation time: 10 minutes (7 minutes presentation, 3 minutes discussion).
  • Presenters should use laptop/desktop with pre-checked net connectivity. Log in at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time slot.

All accepted paper abstracts under the Faculty, PG and UG category will have paper presentations. The details of the above will be released shortly.

Guidelines Online Presentation



Delegates, who are presenting the online poster/paper , please note.

  • The online judging sessions are scheduled from 30th September to 5th October 2024 under 3 categories( Faculty, PG, UG).
  • Kindly note the Date and time schedule of your presentation.
  • The online presentation platform is Google Meet. You are advised to familiarize yourself with the app before the presentation.
  • On the day of the session, the Google Meet link will be shared in the WhatsApp group, 30 minutes prior to the session.
  • The presenting delegates need to join the meeting before the beginning of the session to check the internet connectivity, video and audio quality.
  • DO NOT USE MOBILE PHONE for the presentation. Use LAPTOP or DESKTOP. See that you have good internet connectivity.
  • Keep your presentation ready as per the guidelines provided in website and using the sample template that is shared for reference (for poster presentation)
  • Time allotted to each poster is 5+2=7 (5 min presentation and 2 min discussion/ questions) and Paper is 7+3=10 (7 min presentation and 3 min discussion/ questions)
  • We request everyone to abide by the allotted presentation time.
  • Presenters will be called out according to the sequence in the list provided
  • Presentations will be judged by 2 esteemed judges and decision of judges will be final
  • Any requests for change of time/ date will not be considered.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • Prepare an E-poster in JPEG format using the provided template on the website.
  • The poster should be structured under the following headings:
    • Case report / Case series : Introduction, Case Details, Discussion, Conclusion, References
    • Original study : Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
  • KAPCON 2024 logo on left, respective college /university logo on right of title and E-poster number below KAPCON 2024 logo.
  • Font: Any standard font.
  • Title font size: 50 and above.
  • Authors and Affiliation font size: 36 and above.
  • Body font size: 34 and above.
  • First author should be the presenting author. Name should be bold and underlined.

All accepted poster abstracts  under the PG and UG category will have poster presentations. The details of the above will be released shortly.
